My Dad had a darkroom when I was a kid and I remember waiting for the images to magically form out of the "soup" of chemicals. I've been interested in photography ever since.

Over the years I've taken classes and done B&W darkroom work. Digital photography has let me experiment more with exposure, DOF etc. and I recently bought a Nikon D80 so I can learn and play more.

I've spent about equal time on the east and west coasts of the USA and find myself attracted to the water as well as the incredible landscape. So far most of my people photos are of family but I'm working up my courage to photograph strangers.
