I'm a bit of a scientist and an engineer at heart but I have a creative side that tries to break free from time to time. I think taking photographs allows me to express this and I love the mix of science and art that goes into photography.

I also really love making stuff and so when I discovered kite aerial photography on the web a few years ago (many thanks to Cris Benton) I think I found my ideal hobby. KAP was my main reason for joining Flickr but when I have the time I love just "wondering" around the place, hopping from favourites to favourites......and all around the world at the same time.
