Born in 1960 in Rotterdam, I took my first black and white pictures with an Agfa Box at the age of 11 years. My first camera was an Olympus Pen; a small camera for small pictures! In 1976 with the money which I got for my 16th birthday a bought an Olympus OM1. Since 1998 I am photographing with Nikon. I started digital with a D300s. Currently with a D810.

I am specialized in tramway and light railway photography. Some of my pictures are published in books, magazines and on calender's.
