When I was a teanager, my first camera was a used Canon AE-1, 35mm film ("full frame") with a 50mm f1.8 lens, and a 3rd party midrange zoom. Together with a friend I explored the world of photography, the surrounding nature, landscape and cities (but also table top photography).

As a young man there were so many other highly interesting things to do, profession, university, sports of all kinds, music, painting ... so I have had a very long break but since a couple of years returned to the fabulous world of photography.

Besides social relationsships being in contact with nature is THE source of energy and recreation for me, and being outside and doing photography complements each other quite well.
