I've been taking photos since I was a teenager and then got more seriously into it at university when I got my first SLR. It was an old Canon AE-1 and I had to get a book and teach myself how to use it. Eventually I joined the auto age and finally the digital age!

I decided I wanted to improve my photography and enrolled on a course with the Open College of the Arts which started well and then I had to have a break while waiting for an operation. Then I got back on the course and it was going well until I got a new job which took up most of my time. Nearly 2 years into my new job I'm hoping my workload will decrease a bit and I can do more photography. The aim for 2016 is to see how much time I can dedicate to photography and then think about going back to the OCA next year.
