Plateau Perspectives promotes community-based conservation and sustainable development in the high mountains of Central Asia and the vast Tibetan plateau region in western China. Working through partnerships and collaborations as well as directly with its own field staff, Plateau Perspectives primarily seeks to empower and strengthen local communities as well as support higher level processes that help create supportive and enabling environments for sustainable mountain development.
