My passion for making jewellery began 18 months ago when my employment circumstances changed, due to personal reasons. Working part-time enabled me to find the time to make jewellery, which I did to occupy my mind.

I have always had an interest in jewellery and would have loved to have done a course in jewellery design but got persuaded to do travel and tourism when I was 16.

The first jewellery I started to make was wire crochet bracelets and necklaces, which friends loved and asked if they could buy them! I then came across lampwork beads and started making bracelets with these beautiful beads. I have learned a lot of jewellery techniques through the help of the internet and by just making jewellery.

In 2009 I did a days course in Lampwork bead making, which was great. I then did a course in metal clay, made a ring and two pendants. Really loved working with metal clay and it is something I would go back to. The last course I completed was a glass fusing course, which was interesting. Made three glass panels.

I love to try and make different types of jewellery with all sorts of different materials, getting my inspiration from architecture, nature and life.

I hope you like the jewellery I have made and the future jewellery I will be making. Its fun to create new jewellery and make people smile:0)
