Welcome to Marc Funkleder Photography!

I've always been passionate about imaging and photography. Born and raised in France, I received my 1st camera when I was 12. It was an automatic Olympus and I immediately started to shoot everything around me. Since then I have owned many different cameras (see below), always with a preference for Nikon.

I've always dreamed to be a professional photographer. Even if I have never really given up, I chose a more stable activity to make a living. Maybe one day the opportunity will come for me, where I could live my passion and travel the world to take pictures to show the world’s beauty and diversity.

Until this day comes, I travel as much as I can and I have had the opportunity to travel to more than 20 countries in 15 years. I have lived in Japan for 4 years, then in New Jersey, not far from New York for 7 years and now in Paris since 2009.
