Marason ljósmyndari á Höfn í Hornafirði.
Sigurður Mar Halldórsson lærði ljósmyndun í Gautaborg á árunum 1988-1990, lauk sveinsprófi 1991 og meistaraprófi 2008. Hann hefur 20 ára reynslu af allskyns ljósmyndun; fjölskylduljósmyndun, auglýsinga- og iðnaðarljósmyndum, tískuljósmyndun og fréttamyndum fyrir fjölmörg blöð og tímarit. Sigurður hefur haldið sex einkasýningar og tekið þátt í nokkrum samsýningum. Sigurður Mar Halldórsson er í Ljósmyndarafélagi Íslands og FÍSL, Félagi íslenskra samtímaljósmyndara.

I do quite a bit of trolling through Flickr looking for the good stuff and there is quite a bit of it. Every so often one comes across work which stands out among even this group! Marason is such a photographer. His work, to my untrained eyes, seems delicate, gentle, relaxed and involving. His nudes are unpretentious, elegant and graceful. He seems to have the ability to convey feelings through his work. His work conveys an kind of easy "rightness". His best work is as good as any I've seen and I will continue to follow his posts to gauge my own success and his growth. Very few photographers have the ability to make one smile from the heart, but he has that ability.
