I have been intermittently active in photography most of my adult life. But it has only been in the last 10 years that I have taken photography more seriously.
I try, but seldom succeed in taking photos of nature and people that has considerable visual impact or tells a story or evokes a profound resonance with the subject. And as you can see I like photographing my eight wonderful grandchildren.
There is a treasure trove of wonderful photos by some incredible artist on Flickr. I have found inspiration and knowledge that has aided me in my pursuit to be the best photographer that I can be.
I have lived in Texas most of my life. I am retired, married to a wonderful woman and currently reside in Fort Worth Texas. I often visit Seattle, western Canada, and recently returned from a brief trip to Alaska.
Besides photography, I greatly enjoy conversations about almost everything, science, philosophy, psychology, etc. I read a variety of literature, primarily science fiction, but also non fiction (subjects mentioned above), mysteries, and even some mainstream fiction. And I love being with my two grandsons 4 and 6 years of age.
