Throughout FORMAT International Photography Festival we will be asking Derby visitors and residents to photograph the city streets under the theme of ‘Right Here, Right Now’. We want to see how you see the city, show us the beauty, the hidden and secret places, the funny and the weird. To take part upload your picture at mappingderby.com/

Each photograph will be uploaded and geo-tagged to create a unique map of the city. Give us your thoughts, memories and inspirations of the city.

There will be a growing installation in The Royal Insurance Buildings, 2 The Strand, Derby where a 3D map of the city will grow day by day. We will be offering FREE drop in photography workshops, come and take part 10am - 3pm Saturday 12th, 19th, 26th throughout March. There will also be creative photo challenges for groups and individuals.

We are offering 15 free workshops to clubs and groups on the themes of 'night photography', 'portraits' and 'montage' at dates and times to suit you. Please email hello@mappingderby.com for more details.
