"One should really use the camera as though tomorrow you'd be stricken blind. To live a visual life is an enormous undertaking, practically unattainable. I've only touched it, just touched it."

My Flickr photostream is my visual journal; the place where I experiment and play and fail and sometimes discover new series and new truths about myself.

The pattern of my photostream is the pattern of my days; life, life, work, work, life... Not every day is a good day, but some days are celebrations. As Annie Liebovitz says, "I don't have two lives. This is one life, and the personal pictures and the assignment work are all part of it."

A long overdue testimonial for one of my favourite artists. When I first spied one of Linda's textured masterpieces, a couple of years ago now, I was entranced; they are so delicate yet rich in detail, so poetic... A long overdue testimonial for one of my favourite artists. When I first spied one of Linda's textured masterpieces, a couple of years ago now, I was entranced; they are so delicate yet rich in detail, so poetic... There are lots of people adding texture to their photos now but you are still the master in my eyes! Thanks for all your beautiful images Linda and thanks for being my inspiration, if it wasn't for your images I don't think I would have tried texture work myself. ~Jill~

Linda's pictures are nothing short of breathtaking. The way she combines photography with her beautiful painting makes a delicious dream-world possible - I'd love to live there. Linda is one of the reasons I decided to start painting again, and for that I'm truly grateful.

Coming to Linda's stream, I usually feel awed and humbled, often while looking at a single image. Coming to Linda's stream, I usually feel awed and humbled, often while looking at a single image. Her creations constantly make my brain think in so many directions at once that I am, in many cases, speechless. From American rural landscapes to internal feminine dreamscapes, Linda creates masterfully, gracefully. I can only watch and hope that I learn. She is an artist and an inspiration, and, I'm proud to say, a true friend.

Her photo and graphic design skills are top notch and in addition to her artistic gifts, she's a genuinely beautiful person in all senses of the word. She has 'the eye' and if anyone's work needs to be shared with others, it's definitely Linda's that needs to be at the top of that list. She's an inspiration to me and I always look forward to her next creations!

Linda's photo stream speaks eloquently to all my passions, aspirations, and colors. Her stream today represents everything I want my stream to be tomorrow. Kind. Generous. Talented. She is an asset to Flickr, a muse by any measure.

Out of every stretch of sky and blade of grass, she squeezes the sweetest nectars. Linda, as an artist and friend, is every bit as warm, rich and vibrant as her palette.

Linda's post-processings are so good! Right now -- I don't even want to turn on the TV, see another movie, browse through a photo magazine... ...because every other image I see today won't do it for me, not in the way Linda does it for me.

Linda offers us a chance to see landscapes in a way that we'd miss ... even if we were standing beside her when she snapped the photo. She's just that kind of good.

Not only is Linda an accomplished artist, she is a mentor to many. She applauds and encourages and gently guides. Linda gives of herself and her talent freely and enjoys watching the growth under her care. I am happy to call "Manymuses" my friend and teacher.
