I enjoy the more unusual images that make you look twice and believe you see something new each time and also of the things that people don't deem to be "picturesque". My photo-stream will show you that ;-)

I am making some in-roads as a music photographer, something I stumbled upon quite by accident and have come to love doing, enjoying seeing many pop star old and new through my viewfinder.

I have a re-kindled passion for landscape photography, something that I'm aiming to do a lot more of, and something for which I have recently (June 2023) geared my camera kit bag towards.

I am a musician, writing, recording and producing my own music.

I am also, on occasion, an urban explorer and thoroughly enjoy discovering the things that others forget about.

I used to have a full 35mm set up, then spent a couple of years happily snapping with my brilliant Fujifilm Finepix S2950HD digital bridge camera and then tidying the better snaps with good old Photoshop. In February 2013, I took the plunge and joined the DSLR fraternity with a rather excellent Canon 1100D, armed with an 18-55mm kit lens, 55-250mm lens and a 50mm f1.8 lens. Soon progressed to a pair of Canon 60D's adding a Canon 10-18mm wide angle lens and a Tamron 18-200mm lens to the arsenal. In recent times, I have been using a small but very powerful little Canon M100 mirrorless camera, however, I think I may have lost this to my new wife who has discovered her own love for photography - and that's not a bad thing in my book.

I thought a darkroom could be fun, but digital photography, complete with Adobe Lightroom, Nik Software and PhotoScape, can really open the mind up :-)
