Ho imparato a conoscerlo attraverso i suoi scatti berlinesi e non sono più riuscito a staccarmi dai suoi capolavori. Adoro le sue magiche elaborazioni, l'uso perfetto del grandangolo, le tonalità che solo lui riesce a dare ad una foto. I am certain that anyone who has seen my friend Manlio's photos here will agree that as a photographer he has an amazing, amazing talent. He photographs life around the world with passion and with the love of photography as an art form. He has a gorgeous wife and it is obvious to even a blind man that, his passion and love for her shows through his captures of her on "digital film". I am truly honoured and very humbled that he calls me friend even though we have never met in real life. His photographs inspire amateurs such as myself to take more than just a snapshot of life but rather to stop, really look at the picture and then capture the moment for all time.

I don't know what has taken me so long to write about manlio_k...but I do know this....he is one of the most talented people here on flickr! He's also one of my favorite flickr friends. His photos are so unique and they each have their own appeal. He usually posts his photos as I wake up in the morning, and I always look at his wonderful photos right as I rise out of bed. I also appreciate the warm, thoughtful comments/feedback he always leaves me. My photos will never be of his caliber (and I accept that), but manlio_k always leaves caring words about my photos.
