Ian Manire
Drag to set position!
Ian Manire is an architectural designer, working since 2000 in preservation, restoration, and adaptive reuse. While architecture is his focus, he is dedicated to the cohesive revitalization of the traditional, urban, sustainable built environment and the living appreciation of the cultural and ethical heritage embodied in traditional buildings. Cutting his teeth on the steep challenges facing the U.S. South, he now lives in Portland, OR--where the challenges are perhaps more sane, but no less urgent.
In addition to preservation and adaptive-reuse architecture, Ian is interested in working with at-risk youth; listening to his several-thousand-strong record collection; (vegan) food; rail/buses/trolleys; and occasionally making tiny music himself. In Portland, he has truly found his home.
