I'm a local mixed-media artist currently working primarily in fibers, beads, clay and pigments, and anything else that happens to come to hand! I don't limit myself to anything in particular since I believe that if you do, you lose the spontaneous spark that marks all great art.

I'm open, easy-going and honest. I live by my own code of ethics built upon a framework of integrity. You may not always understand why I do the things I do...hell, sometimes I may not even understand it...but rest assured, there IS a reason for it! Hopefully, it would be a good reaon...

Trying to adopt Tina Turner's words of wisdom: “Sometimes you've got to let everything go - purge yourself. If you are unhappy with anything . . . whatever is bringing you down, get rid of it. Because you'll find that when you're free, your true creativity, your true self comes out.” Sometimes I do better than at others...but it is a worthy goal for me to strive for.

I'm interested in philosophy, science, physics, ethics, mountain dulcimers, guitars, podcasting, inventing, Steampunk culture, blogging, quilting, weaving, industrial jewelry design, motorcycles... William Shakespeare, Aristotle, Charles de Lint, Ayn Rand, Patricia McKillip, Mercedes Lackey, Jaqueline Carey, Lois McMaster Bujold, Juliett Marillier, Dalai Lama... anime, movies of various sorts, and music in nearly any genre...poetry, art, expressionistic behavior, and living life to its fullest.
