I use black and white or color with texture and light, to illuminate things in ways we may have missed. I draw attention to ties between our natural surroundings, us, and things we've built. Exploring what we've done in our relationship with the land and sea, helps reveal where we're headed in that relationship. I was born and raised in Nova Scotia.

Thanks for visiting me here. Several years ago I uploaded too many photos, so I offloaded some to a different Flickr site featuring only abandoned stuff. As of May 2025 I put those pics right back here because Flickr tightened it's vice. It's reached the point you have to have a paid account to keep your original file sizes. Perhaps I should not even have 2 Flickr accounts, but I made this my paid one while abandoning my ironically-themed Flickr account about abandonment.
