Started taking pictures as a kid with an analog point&shoot camera (Konica I think).

Stopped for a while but the rediscovered digital photography.

I found it interesting from the technical side, as I am a true computer geek and electrical engineer ;-)

Well, photography has recaptured me when I took my first DSLR on vacation.

Since then I accumulated a lot of gear:

(Remember the tech part ;-)

- Canon EOS 50D

- Canon 10-22mm 3.5-4.5 EF-S

- Canon 24-105mm 4 L IS USM

- Sigma 30mm 1.4 HSM

- Canon 60mm 2.8 USM EF-S Macro

- Canon 70-200mm 2.8 L IS USM

- 1.4x Teleconverter

- Tripod

- Flashes

- Bags

- etc.

Even though I photograph what comes across my lens, there are some genres I like the most or get the best results out of:

-Macros of insects, spiders and alike

-Technical stuff like cars or the Large Hadron Collider at the CERN (Again, remember the tech part)

-Night images

-All kinds of animals like birds, cats and dogs
