Dave is just more than just a really good at bein’ a shutta bug—He's an above average good friend, (like help you bury a body, good friend) and sayin’ he’s a bleedin’ heart environmentalist/humanitarian would be really wusifin’ the statement. He cares about everybody & every livin’ thing, but obsesses too much about keepin’ a clean house…He could lighten up a little in that area. He has a good eye for the capturin’ of the moment kinda thing, and a whirlpool of knowledge about photography & Adobe PhotoShop….When you view one of his fab way-out images the body can’t help but twitch….oooooo….I’m feelin’ it,…yeah this it it baby! Are you feelin’ it? If you isn’t, then you gotta a blown fuse, and should have your oil changed, as well. I guess in short, Dave be da man! -B Daddy

Unfortunately I haven’t been able to share a drink with him (see below), but I get a vivid sense of his rich life, deep convictions, and wonderful family from his photos. There are people with thousands of photos up on their page and I still don’t have a sense of who they are or what they stand for. Dave is an incisive, personal photographer, and a supportive presence on Flickr. I’m gonna go paint one of my walls orange in his honor. Rock on, Dave.
