I'm a musician.....who loves to travel.....and look at other peoples' pictures!

As I become more familiar with this world of flickr (and beyond!!!) I find I'm becoming more inspired to see the new in the old around me. After coming home from my last trip abroad in December/January 2007, having taken lots of photos with my brand new, first ever digital camera , a Nikon Coolpix L5.....I came to the realization that I could look around at the familiar and also find a trip in that! I do live in an amazing area.....and though it consists of my daily life and I've passed by so many things without really seeing them.....I now find myself looking at the things around me with a new eye, a new excitement even.....and I must thank all of you amazing photographers out there in flickr-dom. I get lost in your photos in a way that I can get lost in my music.....

speaking of which, I now have a web-site for my violin studio (see below) That's me being hurled into this Century kicking and screaming!!!!!Oh.....and my coolpix has turned into a Nikon D40X which I am slowly warming up to (what do you expect from a techno phobe?)
