I just like taking photos. I try to post the best - or funniest! - ones here.
Born in Lancashire & brought up in Scotland, I lived on Ibiza for many years (also a year in the Alpujarras) before returning to the UK in '93.
I enjoy Flickr so much - it's a great learning tool - and have made some lovely friends here, almost all of whom are amazing photographers who have brought me much inspiration & confidence in my limited ability!
I appreciate comments, but please do not do it with huge flashy images - they really irritate me! I'd rather you just said something from the heart. :)

I have been diagnosed with cancer & start chemo etc next week, so I don't suppose I'll be posting many new pics for a while. Or maybe I will - who knows?
December 2016 Given a clean bill of health by my consultatnt! Yay!
I have been on Flickr for 10 years now, and not one single contact has given me a testimonial!
I have now moved to live in Swansea in South Wales.

Helen has been entertaining us for around a decade now, with items that are close to home, and of some exotic (for me) faraway places. I would like to thank her for awakening my interest in her home area, where I once lived, ... such as Mountsfield Park, but especially some pictures of chimney pots that I used to pass regularly in the early to mid 1950's ... My first heart-flutter was caused by a young lady that lived under some of those "pots". I wonder if Patricia still lives there? Eclectic is an understatement, .... one never knows what to expect on Helen's stream, .... where, what or whom ?
