Malena is such an amazing photographer and masterful photographic artist. Her ability to see the world around her in a way the rest of us never will shines through in each and every piece posted. From her low-light long exposure work to her landscape and waterscapes, to her conceptual and abstract work, to her streetscape and urban exploration work, to every other style, she is constantly pushing the bar ever higher. Malena's natural talent to transfer into the viewer the emotion and feeling of each piece is unrivaled. ♥ Malena has taught me to try and see the world differently than everybody else and to then capture that difference; I just wish I had a sliver of a fraction of what she has. Her mentoring is always pushing and encouraging me to step outside the box and to try something different, something new, to learn something each time I pick up my camera. Her work is the benchmark to which I hold myself. :) Malena has a faithful following here on Flickr, and it's easy to see why.
