Our objective is to promote and present a positive and true image of the Maldives in the United Kingdom. As a resident mission in the heart of Europe, we lead the Maldivian Government's efforts in promoting and defending our national interests and policies in the United Kingdom.

To implement our diplomatic agenda, we work towards strengthening the existing historic ties and the bilateral relations between the Governments of the Maldives and the United Kingdom of Great Britain & Northern Ireland. Efforts are also made to promote greater people-to-people contact between our two countries.

Given the fact that many Maldivians choose to study in the United Kingdom and with a few hundred of Maldivians thought to be living in the UK at any one time, our mission plays a key role in providing consular services to Maldivians.
