To view the മലയാളം tags and text I have used on some of my pictures, I recommend using the AnjaliOldLipi unicode font, setting character encoding to Unicode (UTF-8) and enabling support for complex fonts and scripts in your system.

One way to type in Malayalam would be to use Google Transliteration

Most of the pictures I have put on flickr are not processed/edited/Photoshop'd, except for cropping and resizing. For the minimal processing I do on some of my pictures I use freeware Irfanview and the GNU Image Manipulation Program, GIMP.
