I've been photographing as an amateur for a little more than a decade and a half. With the advent of decent digicams, my "habit" approached "obsession". I try to be an off the camera purist, but am slowly moving away from that stance.
My subjects are eclectic, as is the sun in my clime. My image-base is now about 20,000 which means there are probably about 200 keepers and that I have a hard time throwing the others out.
My photographs fall into two broad categories, those I make as an attempt at art and those that merely document the world around me. Most of the "establishing shots" are tagged "documentation" or "travelogue".
The Creative Commons on flickr is now back from its "massage"; my images are now marked "Attribution / Non-Commercial / Share Alike" by default but I have to go fix up my back catalog. If you simply must make commercial use of one of them, just ask - I'd be flattered.

Malachi Petunia offers a variety of views and ways in to the world. His art nude series is impressive in its joy and humanity. I look forward to seeing more of his work.
