I love nature, photography, the sky (especially Northern lights though I only get to see them through the net so far!), animals, birds. I am a Board Member at the Toronto Bird Observatory, helping set up a banding research station and learning how to band birds. Bird banding is a method for gathering useful facts about the life histories of
birds. It provides information on:
• Migration routes
• Breeding grounds
• Winter ranges
• Population fluctuations
• Other scientific/conservation issues .
And I am owned by Loki (a Pied Pearl Cockatiel) and Bailey (a Peach Faced Lovebird) and for a while I had the pleasure of being owned by Tchaikovsky RIP (a yellow sided Green Cheeked Conure) as you'll know when you look through my stream, LOL! Not to mention two Bunnies, Giles and Neville and various hamsters and fosters at any given time.
Feathery Friday, Caffeine Planet and Canadian Female Photographers Group and the wonderful Voices in the Wilderness are some of the groups I help administer on Flickr-too many I know and I didn't even list them all ;)
AND I have too many contacts-please don't be offended if I don't make you a contact unfortunately I don't have enough time in the day to visit the ones I do have and I am trying not to add any more!
