I have recently began to realize really what appeals to me in art. There should be an instant emotional attachment. If I don't feel this when I look at my own work I am disappointed.

I don't mind if I ever sell a picture. I think some things are worth much more. Being able to do what I feel is worth much more than the rewards of being a true professional.
