Ich habe schon immer gern gezeichnet und gemalt. Dann bekam ich eine Nikon D80 in die Hände und seit dem schleppe ich fast immer "für alle Fälle" eine Kamera mit mir herum (aktuell die Nikon D750). Für's innere Auge ist sowohl Zeichnen, als auch Fotografieren gut. Beides ändert in jedem Fall die Sicht auf die Dinge um uns herum.

Im Rückblick auf die letzten Jahre bin ich nun zu der Erkenntnis gekommen, dass mich die "Moll-Momente" fotografisch am meisten interessieren. Das sind für mich die oft weniger beachteten, manchmal unspektakulären, auch gern mit "schlechtem" Wetter beseelten Situationen, an denen man leicht vorbei läuft, deren Tiefe aber erst sichtbar wird, wenn man sich Zeit nimmt und für die man auch mal in die Knie gehen muss, um den Blickwinkel zu ändern.

Dabei soll "Moll" nicht "traurig" oder düster bedeuten...

I have always loved painting and drawing. However, when I first got hold of a Nikon D80 I’ve been carrying a camera with me ever since – just in case (currently it’s a Nikon D750). For the “inside eye” it’s a good thing to do both, drawing as well as taking photos with a camera. In any case it changes the way we look at the world around us.

When looking back onto the past few years I now realise that what interests my photographer’s heart most, are the “Minor Moments”. To me, these are those situations, often hardly noticed, sometimes unspectacular, sometimes unrecognised, preferably inspired with “bad” weather, you could easily pass by, situations, which reveal their depth only when you take your time, for which you are sometimes forced to go down on your knees in order to change your point of view.

And yet, no way does “minor” mean “sad” or “gloomy”……
