In my childhood everyday I saw my father's photo of two lizards. My father was my teacher of photograph. I used to help his darkroom work.
And then Daido Moriyama provoked me into starting to work in real earnest. He taught me photograph needs not a good camera but sensitive eyes and activity.

maggot is among the first people I met on Flickr. maggot is all about machi neko (street cats). maggot is Osaka. maggot is a good friend. goodluck with your gallery. i hope i can visit you someday.
I love Kazunori's work - some of the most interesting B&W images on Flickr... as he says... photography has more to do with the way you see than the camera you carry, and he sees things in a wonderfully interesting and refreshing way. Time spent looking at his photostream is always time well spent.
maggot's street photographs are amazing. his sense for angles, light and cropping, the right moment for the shot, colors etc. are almost always 100% perfect. i check his pictures on a regular basis and could stay with 'em for ages. great photographer with an "eye" for powerful images. keep it up, please.
I check out Maggot everyday, He seems to be part of the elite Osaka street hood that is always posting great shots of Kansai. Captainvideo salutes you Maggot
Maggots images truely amaze me. His black and white street photography is wonderful.
Maggot is the one person on flickr whose photos never fail to amaze and surprise me. His perspective and composition is both unique and pleasing. His images stay with me long after I have viewed them.

When I think of street photography, maggot and his unique, subtle and creative scenes and humanscapes come to my mind! There is a perfectly balanced sense of beauty playing in unison with his feeling for the unique and the extraordinary in cotidiary scenes and situations! Add to this his superb eye for inner human conditions and you have a mind's eye which captures urban life and lives with breathtaking intensity and enchanting angle. You have to see maggot's images to know a transitory world which taste otherwise would probably remain unknown to you.
Read lessi would put maggot in the same class as lee friedlander & william eggleston [my two personal favorite photographers]. his photography both grounds itself and transcends its subject matter. its that transcendent 'otherness' about his images that is so engaging to my eye.
