when i first saw maggie's photos, i was amazed by how personal, how true they looked. it immediately made me add her as a contact so i could follow her stream her photos are not only skillfully taken, they are a story. a very true and personal story about life with all the up's and down's, all the smiles and tears and i'm so glad i've found her on flickr. i just noticed that she has written "I want you to get to know me through my photos" in her profile and i'm 100% sure i can say i know her through her photos, she revealed a small part of herself through her photos and that is what amazes me - how much a photo can tell in my opinion, only a great photographer can tell stories with his photos, so that means maggie definitely is a great photographer - i have no doubt about that (: so keep on taking those good photos, maggie! keep on telling your story through the photos! keep on inspiring!

(her color and bokeh is gorgeous also) I originally found her because a contact told me that someone was stealing her photos. I reported the stealer and commented on some of maggie's photos. I am so glad I did. She is such a nice person, and really helpful when I asked her some questions about camera lenses and such. Her talent with photography is fantastic. Her use of light and bokeh and a tight crop is superb. A lot of my favorite photos of hers are friends only, but still, the photos up on her flickr are fantastic. I hope she continues her 365 project, because I look forward to seeing her get even better come day 365. She is hard on herself and her photos, but we are our worst critic aren't we?
