My photographs tend to be love letters to my beloved New Mexico.

Flickr is my sketchbook. My stream sometimes presents repetitious progressions as I try to work through compositions.

Madrigle is an amazing fine artist and photographer. I have not seen his full body of work but from the pictures on this site you can feel the southwestern u.s. landscape themed throughout his work. I love his rich use of colors and the way he captures vital images in expansive, lonely landscapes. I always get the sense that there's something desolate outside the borders of his pictures, which have found the only thing living for miles to place in the frame. I love the ethereal, melting feeling of his paintings.. they're like swimming through environments of color - land, sea, sky, cosmos. - Zuzu
