Maddie is one of those exceptions to the rule. She pretty disapproves the old cliche that teenage photographers are only capable of two shots... 1) The arms length myspace self portrait 2) The Mirror reflected myspace self portrait One viewing of her photostream and you'll notice a photographer with an attention to detail and an eagerness to learn, develop and hone her photographic knowledge. Maddie, thank you for your encouragement with my own shots, your kind words mean a lot to me and I hope you keep this lovely hobby of ours alive for the years to come.

I've been thinking about what to write for Madeleine for a while now. She is basically new to DSLR photography but has developed so much on her point and shoot that I could not tell the difference. She is one of those on flickr who really have an eye for things, and I think that's why she stands out so much to me. A lot of people here have very fancy expensive cameras and just point them in any direction and shoot. This is not the case with Madeleine at all, and that's why I like her work so much! I can't wait to see what she does with her new camera.
