Madeeha has been a published music journalist/pop culture critic since 2005. She began commenting on fashion in 2008 but considers music to be her first and dominating love in the sphere of journalism.

She has also served as a jury member for the Lux Style Awards (LSA) in 2008, 2009 and 2010.

At the moment, along with her journalistic work, she is currently involved in putting together and releasing several bodies of work — all of which have to do with Pakistan’s music industry.

Her work is regularly published on the Dawn Media Group's online edition in the form of media galleries. In print, her work has been published in Images on Sunday and The Herald (both Dawn publications), Diva magazine and Xpose Monthly.

One of her photographs has also been published in Cerebration - a trans-cultural space for critical thought and creative work.
