Je suis Raphaël Haentjens ( Macropixels), photographe belge et explorateur de l'infiniment petit depuis 2005. Formé à l'Académie Royale des Beaux-Arts de Liège, mon photostream vous invite à découvrir la beauté secrète du monde des insectes et des arachnides au travers d'une forme de safari au raz du sol.
Avant d'embrasser la macrophotographie en 2005, j'ai passé près de 10 ans en tant qu'entomologiste amateur et éleveur d'insectes et d'arachnides. Cette expérience a enrichi mon regard et m'a permis d'apprécier la richesse de chaque être vivant aussi insignifiant puisse il paraître.
Au cœur de cette expédition miniature que constitue mon portfolio, je révèle la valeur et la complexité des créatures qui peuplent notre environnement. À travers mes photos, je vous convie à un safari unique, où nous ralentissons pour nouer une véritable connexion avec le monde qui nous entoure.

I am Raphaël Haentjens (Macropixels), a Belgian photographer and explorer of the infinitely small since 2005. Trained at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Liège, my photostream invites you to discover the secret beauty of the world of insects and arachnids through a ground-level safari.
Before embracing macrophotography in 2005, I spent nearly 10 years as an amateur entomologist and breeder of insects and arachnids. This experience has enriched my perspective and allowed me to appreciate the richness of every living being, no matter how insignificant it may seem.

Je n'ai pas trouvé d'adjectifs assez qualificatifs pour la qualité de ton travail. Tu sais rendre le moindre petit insecte beau et la visite de ton album est un emerveillement. Le monde des insectes est fabuleux et bienheureux sont ceux qui en ont un jour ouvert la porte.
Le stream de Raphaël est une véritable encyclopédie! On parcourt tes photos comme on lit un livre de Bernard Werber plutôt qu'un dictionnaire et chacune d'entre elle nous transfert dans un monde infiniment plus petit mais aussi plus complexe que le notre. Une véritable thérapie contre la peur des insectes.

Après avoir un peu essayé la macro (heu juste quelques jours) j'ai vraiment compris à quel point ce domaine est exigeant et pointu. Les photos de Macropixel ne cessent de me surprendre par leur qualité et leur précision. Bravo !
