Birdwatcher since early 80's. I love to travel, which I try to do as often as I can.

Amateur photographer since 2006 when I bought my first digital SLR camera (Canon 400D). I thought it had a little bit slow shooting speed so I desided to upgrade to a Canon 40D (2008). From november 2010 I had a Canon 7D. In december 2014 I got me a Canon 7D Mark II. Lenses I use: Canon 300/2.8 L IS USM (Earlier I had a Canon 300/4 L IS USM), Canon 100-400/4.5-5.6 L IS II USM, Canon 1.4x + 2x extender, Canon 55-250 zoom, Canon 18-55 zoom and Sigma 105 macro. I also use a Canon Powershot S95.

All my photos of animals, birds, insects are taken in the wild. Often during birding. No blinds/hides are used, if not mentioned.

2021-10-10: In my sets you find photos of 1516 different bird species.
