Art always fascinated me. After having painted portraits of women or comic figures on canvas or pencil drawings of buildings some years ago, I started taking photos in October 2011 because some people around me delighted me with their images and made me curious about photography. By that time I also started uploading my very first photos on Flickr because I have been seeing it as a collection of my work and development within photography.

Firstly I took photos of subjects I was interested in, such as my dog and macros. Very soon I found out that photography changes the way you look at things because you see the world through different eyes and pay attention to detail what you probably had never done before.

A trip to London before the Olympics in 2012 changed everything as I became also interested in architectural shots. It opened up new possibilities like long exposures and colorful night shots. London was a really inspiring place for me and is still my favourite city. A bit later some photographers fascinated me with their High Dynamic Range photos. So I got to know this method of photographic composition and processing. I am still fascinated by architectural images. You can either take photos of buildings and architecture that are already beautiful or you can make buildings and architecture look beautiful, stunning and interesting through photography.

Quite early I also started practicing in portraits or candid shots at weddings what was really a good exercise. Dog and puppy shootings followed soon.

Currently I am interested in a wide diversity of photography as I like to do architectural shots in many different ways – “usual” shots, HDR, daytime and night long exposures, tilt-shifted photos, crystal ball photography etc. -, dog photos, wedding images and macros. I am also interested in (non-wedding) portraits but I am still practicing for it.

So as you can see my hobby photography has become a passion for me.
