I'm Josh. I picked up photography as a hobby around 1996. I bought way too much camera (Nikon N70) and shot about 50 rolls of film over a period of a few years. I never developed the film or focused on getting better. Nearly 10 years later, my wife developed pretty much all of it as a first anniversary present, and I posted some of the less sucky stuff here on Flickr. :)

Now I'm back onto the whole learning train. I don't pick up the N70 much these days, I have a short attention span and digital cameras give me the creative outlet I want with immediate results. I didn't repeat my former mistake this time, though. I started with a low-end Kodak point and shoot digital, then moved up to a higher-end Fuji point and shoot digital. When I exhaust my options on each one, I take a step up. It's working out much better for me this way.
