If there is anything that catches a person's eye, be it beautiful, grand, or provacative, it can be turned into a good photograph. (not necessarily by me but someone can ;)

 

I'm a photographer that is trying to find my place in the (photography) world. I've had a camera pressed to my face for half my life because I find contentment in closing out everything except what I see through my viewfinder-- the portal through which to see the magic and mystery that goes unnoticed and unappreciated. The camera is a tool to help others see, by controlling the visual elements-- eliminate the superfluous and detracting elements while accentuating the grander elements.

This, to me, is photography.

  

 

Please, please, please offer me constructive criticism. I appreciate commentary on my photos but I am most interested in how I can improve my photography. My feelings will not be hurt, I assure ;)
