MAACO has been established in 1975 in Baghdad, Iraq as a construction contracting bureau, founded by Engineer Mohammed Abdulkareem Almadani. This bureau evolved into the business and became one of the busiest offices of engineering and contracting in Iraq, and converted in 1985 to a Constructions company registered with the Ministry of Commerce, and Ministry of Planning as a first class qualified company well as a member of the Iraqi Contractors Federation.

 

With the expansion of the company's business fields and its entry in the areas of different works, Eng. Mohammad A. Almadani established several companies inside and outside Iraq to cover other sectors of the business, which formed Mohammad Almadani Group of Companies.

 

After 2003 changes in the country, MAACO Group has extended it's area of business to include many other sectors such as Oil & gas industry, Heavy duty machinery, investment in industrial, residential & Hotels projects.

 

On the other hand, MAACO took some serious steps to develop it's business out side Iraq by establishing many companies in Europe, in add to settling agreements and memorandum of understanding with many international companies to support MAACO & to upgrade it's capability in deferent fields of business, this will help to actively inter in the big projects that MAACO planned to join in Iraq.

 

MAACO's Regional Office in Amman, Jordan is the front office that can successfully handle the business relationships and activities with the international companies.

 

MAACO's representatives are available in UK, UAE & Malaysia, they are responsible to handle & coordinate MAACO's business relationships & deals .

 

In Iraq MAACO has offices in most of the Iraqi provinces, these offices are responsible about the management of the projects' implementation in these provinces and to coordinate the relation with the Governmental authorities and social parties to support MAACO's projects & business activities, this is very helpful to assure good conditions of work for MAACO's staff especially from the security point of view.
