My motivation for photography was quite mysterious... A number of my friends/coworkers became photography enthusiasts so I was intrigued. As well, I really like gadgets and optical instruments. I feel I have very little intrinsic talent for art, but do become touched from time to time by random sights. So my original intent was to save that moment or coincidental arrangement of things, light, and expressions that really spoke to me. Of course there's always the desire to create nice looking pictures that impress people. :)

I currently have two systems, both are very enjoyable recreationally, and just sufficient for the occasional commissioned shoot, which is where I am at right now in terms of skill level and involvement.
