I am a Baby Boomer, active, adventurous & an architect. I used to fly sailplanes. Now I mostly kayak, sail and hike. As an ultralight pilot I loved taking what I called my "intimate aerials". I have scads of film shots of mountains and atmospherics from the days I flew sailplanes. One day I'll scan the best ones and post them. I have tens of thousands of digital photographs that I am just starting to sort for uploading to Flickr. My chief subjects include the sea, waves, San Francisco Bay, wildlife, birds, clouds, mountains, glaciers & ice. I love travel & have been to Peru, Ecuador, the Galapagos, the Amazon, Egypt, Petra in Jordan, Europe & England & Greece, Turkey, Scotland, Belize, Guatemala, Mexico, Canada,Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam; the Caribbean & much of the US. I am a huge fan of the national parks. I am greatly inspired by the wonderful photos I've seen on Flickr's "Interesting Picture of the Day" & various searches. I am also excited to see wonderful places that I would like to visit in this amazing and beautiful world that we live in. I look forward to improving my photography as a result of Flickr. www.flickr.com/services/apps/72157602046337717/
