I live with a chronic pain disorder called Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, which is a genetic connective tissue disorder. After being diagnosed with this syndrome, I had to find a hobby that I could do without getting hurt. So photography was my chose,

So 15 years ago, I decided to get more involved with photography. I started out just taking pictures of my family and all my kids sports activities. All 3 kids played volleyball. Taking pictures of action shots were really hard in the beginning but after awhile I got used to it.

After the kids all grew up and were out of high school, I wanted to still get out and take pictures. So I started to volunteer my service and take pictures for all the WI Chapter Arthritis fundraiser events. Eight years later....I'm still taking pictures. Over the years, it's made me a better photographer. Thank you, goes out to the Arthritis Foundation for allowing me to become a better photographer.
