I grew up in Croton-on-Hudson, New York, but am now an expat, having relocated some years ago to Fort Worth, Texas (long story). I am an admin for the photo group Croton-on-Hudson, New York. Croton is a beautiful town in northern Westchester. It is surrounded by rivers and resevoirs. New York City gets its water principally from the Croton resevoirs. There is a lot of fascinating history -- from pre-Revolutionary War times to today -- surrounding Croton-on-Hudson .
