Hello, I am Lydia.
-I am a housewife, but I have not always been a housewife, and that is not all that I am
-I have been in love with my husband for over 21 years, I think I was always in love with him, even before I met him
-I don't have a specific photography "type" Nature, some portraits, self-portraits, quirky, serious, textural, colorful, monochrome, floral, domestic cats, really depends on my mood. I am all over the place, in more ways than just photography
-photography helps me focus, so do lists
-I am funny, and silly, and I love to laugh
-most days I sit here silently in my house, playing with my cats and watching really bad crime dramas, when I was a kid I thought I was going to be nancy drew
-I enjoy creating art
- I can knit things, and often find myself with a giant pile of dirty dishes and laundry, but beautiful yarn on my needles.
-I like to dance and sing but rarely do this in public
XO
ps. If you do not have any photos available for me to see and you start favoriting mine, expect to get blocked.
If there are any suggestions or photography tips, I am very open to hear them. I am a beginner willing to learn.

If there was ever a photographer that should be recognized for her wonderful artistic pictures it is Lydia! I hope I will be around this earth long enough to see her recognized for her art. Maureen

Lydia is one of the greatest sources of inspiration to me in photography. I love her stuff so much that it makes a terrible commenter, because I spend so long sitting staring at my computer screen and just soaking it in. Lydia has a superb natural eye for form and color that is a rare gift. It continues to be fascinating to watch her balance her technical learning with this gift, and forge her own path through it. Nothing is ordinary in this girl's world. Especially not the girl! :)
