Until one has experienced the wilderness, a part of one's soul remains unawakened.
Simply put, I have a passion for nature and photographing it. I cherish the time that I get to spend in the wilderness, and preserving that time forever, in my photographs. It is about spending quality time in the great outdoors and the challenge of spending a fleeting moment with a wild animal or finding a spectacular landscape. I spend the majority of my time in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia's Shenandoah National Park.

I am also the web developer and 1/3 owner of the Guide To Shenandoah National Park & Skyline Drive, a Web site which serves as a free resource for visitors to the park. Based on the popular hiking book authored by the late Henry Heatwole.
