I took up photography as I was earning my PhD. It was a great way to be creative. I joined a local photography club which has really gotten me to work on technique as well as opened my eyes to new ways of taking photos.

I will continue to try new things and post them here. I find that has been the truly rewarding part of photography. Even if not new to everyone things are constantly new to me.
