I got into this photo lark a few years back for the fun and haven't looked back since. I started off with a Nikon D60, wore out the shutter motor on it, forcing an upgrade to a D7000 (life is tough sometimes). I still use the kit lens from the D60, but have added the compulsory nifty fifty plus an exquisite 55-300mm zoom. Mostly I shot landscapes; sometime I venture into other territory. Mostly I post photos; sometimes I like to pen a word or two (or, indeed, few hundred) to go with my shots.

I've learnt a lot from Flickr. Ideas and inspiration from others, the joy of sharing work with like-minded enthusiasts. And I've made some new friends in the process.
