I've always had a camera nearby but in 2008 I decided to become more serious about my photography..I love exploring my world with the camera..It's such an amazing thing to be able to capture that special moment in time and make it last forever..
Equipment wise, I'm currently using a Nikon D60..Oh, I often drool over the higher end cameras but the fact is it's just not in my budget, so I do the best I can with what I have...I am hoping to upgrade a bit over the next few years(maybe as a 45th birthday present to myself? ;-) )..If you have a camera you particularly enjoy, I'd love to hear about it..So far, I've been hearing great things about the Nikon D-90..I also got my hands on a Nikon 5100 awhile back too..hmm
Just a quick note about my contacts and groups..I take my contacts seriously and I'm trying to connect with people who like to interact with other photographers..Afterall, half the fun is giving and receiving feedback on each other's photos :) ..As for the groups, I love them! Even though alot of us give our contacts first priority(myself included), the groups give endless possibilities to meet new people and to see others' perspectives..

I am amazed by the work of Kim and her fascination with the world around her. Her photographs are so diverse and beautifully captured. I feel like she really explores the world and captures all the delightful moments that surround her. I feel the same excitement that she shares with us on flickr and I look forward to her next adventure. I really love her ice sculpture that she named God's abstract. The title is beautifully fitting. I also love the simple seashell on seashore and beautiful delicate moment that it signifies. I also feel so thankful for her gracious comments. Her comments always bring me a smile. I feel like Kim is such a genuine person and I am so happy to have met Kim on Flickr and look forward to getting to know her further. Kim is one of the most caring people that I have met on Flickr. Kim, thank you for your kindness and endearing support. Your friendship has been a wonderful blessing! Blessings to you!
