I’m Laurie Mitchell, an artist who works and lives in Staffordshire, England. My art styles are Printmaking, Paper Art and Altered Books.

I am currently working on a body of work featuring stylised studies of insects, birds, reptiles and flora. These are often small pieces of art, created through lino-printing over areas of collage.

Mid-century design, nature, vintage encyclopaedias pages and specimens influence my artwork. I also love to find ways to repurpose discarded ephemera and include vintage treasures.
