With wines I love reds, with music I like blues but with people and arts colour is secondary to ideas ... and, just to show how skin-deep are my thoughts, tertiary to looks. ;-{)

In the Flickr world, I don't keep "contacts" for fear of not fulfilling the responsibilities that come with it but I treasure true friendship/relations that I am, so far, blessed to have formed here. Also please don't be offended that I don't, or do, join a pool/group since I've learned the pitfalls of belonging to too many.

I join Flickr since, like many photographers, I want to show my works and receive critiques -- as well as to show off to my friends and receive "abuses" from them. I also join since I like looking at others' works and offering my reactions afterward. And through this back-and-forth, show-and-tell process, understanding is formed; and through understanding, I hope, relationship/friendship will be created. I'm not interested in all the "little games" of faving, of dumping a few awards in the place of comments, of meaningless comments, of you-stroke-my-back-and-I-stroke-yours ... to get on Explore.

And, except for a few pictures that really move me, I rarely fav anything smaller than the Large size.
